The Hide
Well known and much loved, The Hide Safari Camp is situated within Hwange National Park, Zimbabwe's largest game reserve, known for its abundant and diverse wildlife, in particular large herds of elephant, buffalo, giraffe and lion.
Built in 1992 by the Preston family, The Hide has justly earned its reputation as a great wildlife experience wrapped in warm and welcoming hospitality. An award winning camp that one can rely on to live up to its high standards, accommodating upto 24 guests in comfortable and spacious tents under thatch, that overlook a waterhole. All tents have en suite indoor and outdoor showers, the deluxe lodges have indoor or outdoor bath tubs as well.
The Hide prides itself on having a family of experienced, knowledgeable and enthusiastic guides. There is no limit on the number of activities on offer, walks with one of our professional guides, day and night drives, ‘hide’ sits and much more. Adventurous guests enjoy spending a night sleeping out in the romantic Dove’s Nest. Private and peaceful with emphasis on great game and bird viewing in an Iconic Park!
