Ant's Hill
The malaria free Waterberg has been the home of the Baber family since the late 1800’s. Ant’s Nest and Ant’s Hill have been built by Ant and Tessa Baber in harmony with their surroundings on their 12 000 acre private game reserve
Our aim is to provide all our guests with a totally flexible activity based safari, allowing guests to choose daily which game viewing activities they would like to do and when; viewing game from horseback, during guided walks, game drives or mountain bikes. Alternatively enjoy a massage or lounging by our heated pools.
The horse riding offers the opportunity for some of the greatest game viewing in the African bush. Our herd, of over 60 horses are fit, reliable and responsive, providing a choice for both the professional rider and the absolute beginner including children.
Game walks are informative and interactive, enabling guests to glean knowledge of the flora and fauna and animals resident on the reserve.
Day and night game drives are conducted in open 4 X 4 land cruisers
Both bush homes are ideal for weddings or special occasions. Other activities are available in the surrounding area such as elephant back safaris and various more.
Our Children’s policy allows for kids to join their parents on all activities alternatively to be taken out on separate specially laid on activities.
Ideal for all types of travellers whether you a couple, group of friends, on honeymoon or just wish to experience the marvel of the African bush, both bush homes will be ideal for you. They can also be booked privately to one group at a time or just on a room basis.
